In case anyone was wondering, I have been maintaining radio silence due to the fact I have decided that I am going to be doing hard core Christmas knitting this year. While this is nice because it lets me justify buying fancy yarn to play with, it also means I have a lot of shit (gloves, two scarves, two pairs of fancy socks) to pound out with just eight short weeks to do it. (That's right kids, it's eight weeks until Christmas...have fun). Unfortunately, the next eight weeks also happen to be the busiest of the year at my job.
So if I am not working, or doing chores, I have yarn in my hands right now. So unless I have something incredibly interesting to say, or it is too early for me to knit without dropping a row of stitches, I am probably going to be kind of quiet until my needles are no longer smoking. Feel free to mock my yarnish ambitions at any time.
So anyone have any good podcasts or books on tape they would recommend for listening while I am working on the pressies.
